die matt black sessions: bob en sop
Ek dink hierdie is my eerste “potgooi” in afrikaans, ek is trots daarop. Ek is ‘n groot aanhanger van die Bob’s, soos Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson van the Band ens. So natuurlik was Bilton Wines se Matt Black Sessions net die plek om te wees. Die tema vir die aand: Bob en Sop met “covers” van die legendes se tunes, lekker en uniek!. Agter die mikrofoon is ‘n rits musikante, solo of saam-saam, uit die geledere van New Holland, Zinkplaat, Peter Mitchell, Ryno Velvet, Basson Laubscher & The Violent Free Peace, Johannine & The Rivers, Simon Swerwer, Willim Welsyn, President Sally, Joelevite en selfs nog ‘n paar.
Hul opdrag: speel enige liedjies van enige Bob (Marley, Dylan, Seger, Johnson, Geldoff, noem maar op). Die gehoor trek aan as hul gunsteling Bob (bv. Bob Mugabe, Bob the Builder, ens.). Daar sal ook ‘n uitstalling wees van kunswerke, plakkate en dies meer in dieselfde tema.

Zinkplaat photo shoot
I recently did a photo-shoot with my long time favorite Afrikaans band – Zinkplaat. My aim was to capture them as individuals, and to be able to show others how I see them. Wilgenhof Carry six Packer 2010
What a night. The The Pretty Blue Guns, Tidal Waves, Zinkplaat and FPK at Wilgenhof res in Stellenbosch for the annual Wilgenhof Carry 6 Packer. Everything was quite chilled untill FPK hit the stage..they broke down the whole laid back vibe very quickly.

FPK @ Kirstenbocsh-Summer-Concerts-24 Jan 2010
Sunday at Kirstenbosch it was time for some leaves to stir.. I went to get some photos of the people attending FPK @ the kirstenbosch summer concerts as well as one or two of FPK for the JIP. When I got there I saw that the stage was made higher somewhere between me attending the previous FPK show here and now. This posed a few problems but in the end I liked what I got.
