Cape Town: on foot
a while back Jandré and I headed out to Cape Town to get some photos. I set out to do some street photography. We mostly moved around the Long and Loop street areas and later ventured towards the Ferrari garage. This was the first time I photographed Ferrari’s and also the first time visiting the Ferrari garage. We weren’t there 10 mins when one of the employees came outs saying that I may not take photos of the cars standing outside as it belongs to some of their clients. (I did get a few frames though). I though o well it was nice to be there but then he invited us in to photograph some cars in the back. I think walking into a garage with 10+ brand new Ferrari’s and some masterpieces is any boys dream – some of my favorites are below.
A while later we also went by the train station to drop off some friends. Here I also to a few frames I like because they are natural – not posed and all make use of natural light coming in from outside and reflecting of the white floors. Have a look at the one with the guy sitting against the pillar with the lady mopping to the right. thats natural light on her face coming from the floor below and helped by a light against the piller infornt of her.
